NWCB is known and recognized regionally and nationally as a trusted, impartial source for information and promoting industry excellence and best practices.
The NWCB technical services team’s primary mission is to provide technical support to the NWCB’s membership comprised of signatory wall and ceiling contractors, labor organizations, manufacturers, suppliers and dealers to the wall and ceiling industry in the Pacific Northwest. Our members work encompasses many facets of work within wall and ceiling construction including:
- Steel framing
- Gypsum wallboard installation and finishing
- Interior plaster applications, both new and historic restorations
- Suspended ceiling systems
- Exterior systems
- Stucco and EIFS
- Cladding systems
- Thermal insulation
- Air and water resistive barriers
- Spray-on fireproofing
NWCB technical services team works with members at all phases of projects including:
- Technical and informational meetings for installing contractors.
- Technical documents and publications
- Pre-Construction meetings
- Codes and standards research
- Project specification and plan reviews
- Jobsite visits
- Projects that have experienced impacts to productivity
NWCB technical services also works closely with:
