In 2026, the NWCB Outstanding Project of the Year Awards will once again take center stage at the Wall and Ceiling Conference. For decades, these awards were a highlight of the event—a time when our community gathered to shine a spotlight on exceptional projects and the teams behind them. After a period of presenting awards locally, we’re excited to bring this shared celebration back to the conference and recognize the winning projects during the Opening Session.
The Outstanding Project of the Year Awards exist to:
· Honor exceptional wall and ceiling projects that stand out in design, complexity, or impact.
· Recognize the craftsmanship and professionalism of our Union contractor members and their project teams.
· Showcase innovation and problem-solving that push our industry forward.
· Highlight collaboration among contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and owners.
The awards are about celebrating the work that elevates the wall and ceiling industry—and the people who make it happen.
2026 award winners have been notified, and we’re looking forward to honoring them in front of an audience of peers and industry partners and sharing the stories behind the winning projects and the teams that brought them to life.
