On October 8, the NWCB hosted a special industry celebration at the Elliott Bay Brewing Company in Burien to honor the Washington winners of the 2024 Outstanding Project of the Year awards. The event not only recognized exceptional projects but also celebrated the recipients of the local IUPAT and OPCMIA Mentor of the Year and Apprentice of the Year awards.

Thirteen projects from Washington and Oregon were selected for this year's Outstanding Project of the Year Awards. The honored contractors from Washington included Mehrer Drywall, Performance Contracting, Western Partitions, Northwest Partitions and GK Knutson.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the awards event to celebrate the exemplary construction projects and the individuals dedicated to a  highly skilled workforce which will help us continue the tradition of excellence in wall and ceiling construction.

Many thanks to our sponsor, DeWALT, for their support of the 2024 awards event in Washington! Stay tuned for updates on the celebration of the Oregon award winners.
