Nominations are now being accepted for the NWCB's 2016 Outstanding Project of the Year Awards. You can nominate wall and ceiling projects in the following categories:
I. Interior
A. Residential (single family or multifamily)
B. Commercial
II. Exterior
A. Residential (single family or multifamily)
B. Commercial
III. Suspended Ceiling (acoustical)
IV. Light-Gauge Steel Framing
V. Renovation/Restoration
An award may be given in each category and each region.
HOW TO NOMINATE A PROJECT (ANYONE CAN MAKE A NOMINATION)
Fill out the nomination form, enclosing the required photographs and project highlights (see Rules for details).
The nominations deadline is Friday, January 29. The entries need to be complete with a filled-out nominations form, high-quality photos and attached description on the project. All of these components are critical as the winning entries will be featured in print and online media. The awards will be presented on April 28, 2016, at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in California.

RULES
1. Project can be of any size or dollar amount.
2. Project can be new or renovation/restoration.
3. Project must be complete, with the exception of the Light-Gauge Steel-Framing category, which requires that the steel-framing scope of work is complete. Projects completed in the past two years can be submitted or resubmitted if they have not previously been given this award.
4. Anyone can nominate any number of projects—wall and ceiling contractor must be a member of NWCB.
5. The winning contractor team must be present at the Northwest Wall and Ceiling Industries Annual Convention at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016, to accept the award.
6. Submit high-quality, high-resolution images of the project on disc. Photos taken during construction are optional for all projects except those in the Light-Gauge Steel- Framing category, for which they are required. The quality of the photos is an important part of the overall submission, and the use of a professional photographer is suggested for maximum photo quality. Submission of materials grants permission for unrestricted promotional use by NWCB of all photographs and information. This includes, but is not limited to, awards program publicity and publication in association, industry and other publications.
7. The nomination form must be filled out completely for each individual project.
8. You must attach a separate document with information on the project.
9. Project awards will be given for projects in Washington, Oregon and Alaska and awarded for the location of the project, not the office location of the company receiving the award.

Projects that have been previously nominated but not selected for an Outstanding Project of the Year Award by NWCB may be resubmitted. The wall and ceiling subcontractor on the job must be a member of NWCB. Anyone can nominate a project.
