Stucco Guide

Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau has just completed an extensive revision of its popular Stucco Resource Guide. The updates were made in corroboration with building industry consultants and industry experts nationwide.

First published in 1997 as the first comprehensive manual to designing and building with stucco, the Stucco Resource Guide covers all scopes or stucco work.

As the previous editions, this publication contains information on the properties of stucco, a comprehensive guide specification for stucco projects and over 100 details illustrating the proper design and use of stucco. The manual also includes a table outlining the recommendations for the scope of job responsibilities of the parties (owner/architect, general contractor and plastering contractor) and an extensive quality-assurance checklist for stucco projects.

The new edition includes several new illustrations detailing the proper interfacing of stucco with other building components, new flashing procedures and rainscreen assemblies. The Quality Control Checklist has been expanded, and information has been added throughout the publication.

The third edition of the Stucco Resource Guide ships with a companion CD-Rom, which includes the publication in pdf format plus all of the details in both pdf and AutoCAD formats.

Revisions:

The third edition, published in September 2002, is the latest version of the Stucco Resource Guide. There are currently no updates available. Please check back. When updates become available, you will find them posted here.
