The NWCB Northwest Chapter Golf Tournament will be held Thursday September 9, 2010! 1PM Shotgun.

Registrations are open, So get your 4-somes together and Register today! The Woodlands course is limited to 144 players.  Any overflow will be placed on The Links course. The Woodlands course will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Register now to ensure a spot in the tournament!

Golf Sponsors: Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested. Being a sponsor is a great opportunity to meet all the players one on one while passing your company marketing give-a-ways, special hole game, snacks or beverages. The tournament will be at the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie in Lacey, Washington, with a shotgun start and a BBQ dinner immediately after the tournament. Fees include the rental of a golf cart (mandatory at the Woodlands Course), range balls and a starter package, plus prizes & a BBQ dinner. Please check in on the day of the tournament before Noon. thanks..

NWCB members may be invoiced; nonmembers must include a check or credit card authorization with their registration.

To get the foursome you want, sign up all players together and request one billing/send in one check with your registration. If you are registering individuals outside your company, please make sure they know you are making arrangements for them and whether they will be responsible for payment. A spot cannot be reserved without a name, number, and payment. Individual sign-ups are welcome!

If you don't indicate golf partners on your registration form, you will be placed in a foursome by the Golf Committee. Over flow may happen.

We will have fun contests such as the popular "Money Hole." The cost to enter is $5. When player hits the ball onto the green at a designated hole, his/her name goes into drawing for money pool. Drawing will be held at dinner. Tournament Day

• All tournament activities and parking will be at the Links Course club house. When you arrive, stop at the bag drop and tournament personnel will place your bag on the golf cart located at the Links course.

• Each foursome must register at the NWCB Golf Registration located by the restaurant entrance and pick up the score card and starter packages for the team.

• Warm-up will be at the Links Course driving range.

• A great BBQ dinner and awards immediately following the tournament.

About Hawks Prairie The dress code calls for a golf attire. T-shirts, tank tops, cutoffs, swim wear or gym shorts are not acceptable. Soft spikes required.

 State of the Industry Address

Executive Director of the NWCB

The Oregon chapter of the NWCB will kickoff the 2010-11 event year with an important address from the Executive Director, Mr. Robert Drury. Bob will be discussing current issues including how the industry is fairing during the current economic conditions. He’ll highlight areas of opportunity and trends for the upcoming year. In addition, Bob will answer any of your questions regarding the industry and the NWCB. Whether you are a manufacturer, building supply specialist or contractor it’s important to understand the forces that can make or break your business.

The Northwest Wall & Ceiling Bureau offers educational and networking opportunities for its members. With the current economic environment these tools are invaluable in developing your professional growth.
