Coronado Island Walking Tour

Enjoy Coronado Island’s beautiful architecture and colorful history during a narrated walking tour. After a comfortable ride on a motor coach, we will begin our tour at the Hotel del Coronado’s clock tower. More than 100 years old, “The Del” sits on one of the most beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean. Her guest book reads like a Who’s-Who history book, and the hotel has been the setting of many famous movies. Next, we will visit a number of mansions belonging to notable persons and celebrities and have time to browse through quaint shops, cafes and galleries or stroll along the sandy beach. A seated lunch and transportation are included.

Bike to the Beach - Thursday

Take a relaxing and invigorating bike ride from the resort to the Pacific Ocean. Our trip begins by riding around the Batiquitos Lagoon as we make our way to the coast through upscale neighborhoods. After reaching the famous Highway 101, which runs along the coast and features a dedicated bike lane, we will travel through fun beach towns such as Leucadia and Encinitas. With a stop at Beacon’s Beach for a photo opportunity, we will be able to enjoy the surf, sand and serenity of the Pacific Coast. The terrain varies – be prepared for exhilarating riding and some fun cruising! Bikes, helmets, guides, water and a snack are included in this tour.
